Mother's Day is the one day of year that is set aside to celebrate Mom. Take time to select that perfect gift and plan the day. It is many years ago since my beloved mother passed away . Not a day goes by that my "MuM (British way)'is not a part of my life . My mother and I had a special bond, having no daughter her gay son was the perfect shopping companion. As I entered my teens one of the things we loved to do together was going shopping

. Mother's Day may include spending special time with your Mother.  Therefore to help you plan the flawless day I've put a list together of 10 perfect activities. Mother's Day also means finding that perfect gift. You still have time  It's not always easy to find the perfect Mother's Day gift. Don't worry I've put together a list of gifts that will put a smile on Mom's face.

My Mother was my champion always fighting for me . She gave her love unconditionally .She taught me the value of family and friends. My Mum cared for all who crossed her path . 

10 MOTHER'S DAY ACTIVITIES

If you need a little creative push to think up ideas for the best Mother's Day ever here is a list for you. 

 

1 A meal at a special restaurant .

This is an activity that can include the whole family. So whether you have a favorite brunch spot, a dinner venue or a lovely terrace for lunch. Since this lets Mom take a break from the cooking and gives everyone a chance to visit.

 

2 Go on a Mother's Day Picnic.

Since early May is a perfect time to go on a picnic, plan a family outing in a favorite park. Prepare ahead , check the weather pack a blanket. make some of your Mom's favorites foods. Hence if your are not the cook in the family some delis offer premade picnic baskets. Remember to include a favorite bottle of wine.

 

3 Cook a great lunch or dinner.

If the great outdoors is not your style you can still cook an amazing meal at home. Especially relevant If you and your Mother enjoy cooking this is the perfect opportunity to spend some time together in the kitchen. While If you don't cook ,a favorite take-out will hit the spot.

 

4Take her to her favorite places.

Probably most Mothers have a favorite museum, bookstore, film, play or clothing store. This is a great idea to combine both the gift and the outing. Since the bookstore or favorite clothing store could also  supply the gift.

 

5 Take a class together.

Whether it's booking a wine course or taking a painting or pottery class .Find something different to do. Most of all this can make for creating great memories. Therefore be sure to check out Groupon or LivingSocial for wonderful activities in your area.

 

6 Treat her to a spa day.

This is something you can do together or you can send her. While mom's at the spa maybe you clean her house or tidy the garden. Since nothing relaxes you more than a massage, facial or mani ,pedi.

 

7 Send her on a short trip.

Since life can can be overwhelming we all could do with a break Therefore sometimes the best thing you can do for the ladies in your life whether it's your mother or the mother of your kids  is give them peace and quiet. A couple days at a B&B or a night at a luxury hotel  may be perfect,

 

8 Visit a local nursery.

Since Mother's Day corresponds to the beginning of spring a trip to the local nursery or garden centre is a great idea. While there you can purchase the bedding plants , make a floral basket or maybe a get special rose bush or tree.

 

9 Go to Church with Mom.

Since many of us don't attend church on a regular basis if your Mom is a church goer attend with her. This could make her day. Since this is a short activity combine it with a brunch or lunch and make a day of it.

 

10 An Outdoor activity.

While we all may have good intentions we may not often get into the wilderness. Since this will depend on where you live outdoor activities will vary. Therefore it may be a walk in the park a hike up a mountain or bike ride in the country. Celebrate Mothers Day outdoors.

In conclusion Mothers Day is a time to celebrate your Mother. My dears I realize that many of you may be Mothers yourself. I take this opportunity to wish you all the best. Being a Mother is one of the greatest things and showing your Mother love one of the greatest gifts.
