NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE 2019
Few events get a fashion lover salivating more than the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2019. While, I love shopping, nowadays most of my shopping is in thrift stores or online. However in preparation for this post I walked downtown to the Nordstrom Vancouver store. In fact it was crowded and I found it difficult to find what I wanted. Certainly there were store clerks who were mostly busy moving merchandise from one location to another. However I did find a jacket that I wanted , but they didn’t have my size. Alas my entire experience was frustrating !!
However, it did reinforce a learn that I have written about many times, it’s usually better to shop online. Therefore unless you are going shopping as entertainment with your bestie , shop online whenever possible. Since many of my friends and followers do not necessarily live in the “Big City”, they are forced to shop online . However, what surprises me is these rural fashionistas are some of the best dressed people I know. Certainly they are the best testimony to online shopping that I have. Therefore I have taken my walking shoes off and am sitting on my computer ordering that jacket I was looking at.

Since I have clearly made my point about online shopping there are also a few more reasons to shop with me. First I receive a huge amount of info from my friends at Nordstrom, therefore I have great offers for you here . Second, I specialize in knowing fashion inside and out. Since, I know fabric and silhouette and style I will usually steer you away from trends and towards fabulous fashion that have longevity. Third I will receive a small commission for all the items you buy, a small gift to me for the great advice I share.
Therefore, today we will shop for my favorite article of clothing the dress.
- Day dresses are great to wear in the office, for social outings or when you’re running errands. These could include shirt dresses and long sleeve dresses. When you have plenty of casual dresses, it’s good to know you can wear them any day of the week.
- Special occasion dresses are usually for formal and cocktail events. You would want to have some of these dresses on hand for weddings, parties or formal dinners. These may include long dresses, cocktail dresses and party dresses.
