THE GOLDEN GLOBES
The Golden globes were held Sunday at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.The show that I watch appears outside the glamorous ballroom on THE RED CARPET. My eyes were peeled to see the gowns chosen by the stars and their stylists. A wide array of designers were represented on the red carpet this year and it was a great runway event! The lovely Emma Stone looked regal and sophisticated in Valentino.Blake Lively always a fashion favorite did not disappoint in Atelier Versace. Natalie Portman looked distinguished channeling Jackie O in a beaded Prada gown.
The stars turned it out ! I'm not feeling particularly bitchy today so I think I'll leave the worst dress list to the Fashion Police. Well maybe just one , Nicole Kiddman looking like she been held hostage in a pirate ship wearing a dreary number by McQueen.ok enough of that . I'd to like give a shout out to Viola Davis in sequined sunshine yellow one shoulder dress by Michael Kors ,she really looked spectacular.
Golden Globes Big Fashion Winner Zuhair Murad
The Fashion world has become a big player in award shows. The Red Carpets of all the award shows are front and centre in the fashion industry.The designers strive to have their dresses on the Red Carpets. The Golden Globes this year was a great opportunity for the designers to show their stuff. After watching the show and reviewing the looks on the Red Carpet one designer seemed to take the prize. The designer winning this acclaim from me is Zuhair Murad , having four dresses on onthe red carpet he showed his creativity and talent.
For those of you not familiar with Zuhair Murad let me fill you in. The Lebanese fashion designer was born in 1971 to a Catholic family in Ras Baalbek.Murad moved to Paris shortly after high school,where he obtained his degree in fashion.
In 1999 Murad made his first apperance on the catwalks of Rome with an acclaimed collection. This was the beginning of a great career ..His extensive lines encompass haute couture, ready-to-wear and accessories. He is no stranger to the Red Carpet and has dressed many stars including Marion Cotillard, Taylor Swift , Carrie Underwood.
This year at the Golden Globes he won my heart with the pink lace,sequined gown worn by Lilly Collins.This dress was absolute perfection on a young woman. He captured not only the elegance of the affair but the essence of youth and beauty.
The Zuhair Murad gown worn by Lilly Collins was a perfect choice.

Tracee Ellis Ross wore this body hugging Zuhair Murad gown.One of my standouts of the night.The fit,colour,and overall style made Miss Ross a fashion winner as well as a statue winner for her role in Blackish.
I loved the dressworn by Miss Ross although not the same this dress would give a very similar silhouette.
