The Oscars 2018.Darlings the big strut down the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre ends the award season. This is not just another red carpet it is the pinnacle, The Academy Awards. While this was the 90th Oscars the red carpet was as fresh as today. Especially stunning was the wide array of designers gowns and the stars that wore them. Since I’m a day after all the other posts I have already read all the reviews of the best and worst dressed . However I usually don’t like to concentrate on those who slipped up . Certainly there were some fabulous looks , but for my purposes I’m going to concentrate on four of the best dressed.

Public appearances can pose a challenge for young actresses, who risk appearing too young, too sexy or too mature. But styling a young actress comes with its own set of challenges. Therefore young women in their twenties dress for the red carpet with certain things in mind . Moreover I’ve created some points that should be considered when dressing for a more formal event. First elegant,and streamlined dresses on the red carpet devoid of fussy prints and too much detail work well. Second your twenties are the time to take some risks depending on the event, think fashion forward. Third formal dresses are often made for more mature women who have a little more jingle in their pockets. Since most labels have a certain demographic search out labels that cater to young women.

Therefore brands play a crucial role in striking this delicate balance. Valentino and Red Valentino are perennial favorites. While Marchesa Notte and Jaquemus are great choices for younger stars. I love Self Portrait , because it’s a fun young label. For example two of the dresses above are by Giambattista Valli who shows his talent for designing for young glamour.

1. SAOIRSE RONAN IN CALVIN KLEIN

The 23-year-old actress was nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award this year. Although she didn’t win the Oscar she won her spot at the top of best dressed lists. She won her pink strapless Calvin Klein by appointment gown, designed by Raf Simons, with magnificent bow detail.

In my opinion the dress has something special, it focuses our attention on Saoirse while being a mix of modern and classic. Notably the color and the playful bow make the dress modern and youthful. Meanwhile the slick clean silhouette is classic and iconic .

2. ZENDAYA WEARS GIAMBATTISTA VALLI

The Oscars 2018 red carpet was awed by Zendaya’s look . Moreover it is everything a fashion lover could ever dream of. That shouldn’t surprise anyone, considering that Zendaya is one of the top style icons of our time.

For Hollywood’s biggest red carpet of the year, the actor wore a draped one-sleeved dress with allover gathering by Giambattista Valli. The end result made her look like a Grecian goddess — more specifically, one of the muses from Disney’s Hercules. What’s more, the look featured diamonds dripping from each ear, visible thanks to Zendaya’s tight topknot. She finished the look with a matching bracelet and rings.

Zendaya always manages to master that classic-with-a-twist vibe, and tonight’s epic red carpet is no exception. While the silhouette might at first seem simple, the deep, unexpected color, one-sleeved silhouette, and easy draping train truly bring it to the next level. In conclusion this young glamorous look is a personal favorite.

3. ZOEY DEUTCH WEARS ELIE SAAB

And Zoey Deutch looked every-inch the superstar as she rocked an Elie Saab Spring 2016 Couture gown during her first Academy Awards red carpet .The 24-year-old actress was simply stunning showing some skin in the gorgeous eco-friendly number for the star-studded event.

The actress looked phenomenal in the tiered gown. Does eveningwear get any better than this? The dazzling dress features all-over silver embellishment, and is cut with a plunging neckline and tiered skirt. It’s glamorous, flattering and feminine; quite frankly, I adore it. Although this gown could look more mature it was styled beautifully and the result was youthful and fresh.

4. SOFIA CARSON WEARS GIAMBATTISTA VALLI

While some might resist wearing red on the red carpet actress Sofia Carson had no doubt. Moreover she couldn’t have picked a better color! Sofia definitely made the most of her red carpet moment at The Oscars 2018. In this case she shone like a glamorous star of today and yesterday.

Frequently young stars can be overpowered by the gowns of the red carpet, in this case Sofia need not worry . Notably her Giambattista Valli flowey, floor length red gown with a floor length cape, pumped things up to the highest level of glam. Meanwhile her styling completed this fabulous dress with perfect make-up and super sleek hair with a low ponytail and a side part.
